February

Valentines weekend we spent at the marriage retreat at Aspen Grove.  We learned a lot about the Book of Mormon, but not so much about marriage.  Good thing we don't need that stuff anyway.  It was beautiful.

We started hearing about this virus called Covid and the world seemed like it was going crazy.  Soap and toilet paper cleaned totally out.  It was looking like Scott and I might not be able to go to Italy.  Little did we know what was ahead--haha!

Christian's Eagle Court of Honor.  I cried.  It was perfect.  Brother Bell and Brother Coyne did such a good job.  And put up with a lot from this kid.

Can you believe he went from this to that?!?

Branden got us tickets to the Peter Breinhold concert.  It was actually really good and made me want to travel more.  We went out for Thai before.

First Y hike of the year!

Once we realized we weren't going to be able to go to Italy, Scott and I went to the Pompeii exhibit in Salt Lake.  It was fascinating to see the artifacts that were covered with ash for hundreds of years and so well preserved.  Their civilization was so advanced--indoor plumbing and heating.  Scott found us a French bakery that we had breakfast at before.  It was just like Paris!

The girls wanted matching dresses and how could I refuse?
