April 2019

The highlight of our spring break was going on a city adventure with the Henlines. We rode the frontrunner up and had to solve clues to make it to the end.  We wound up at the Utah Capitol building.  It was gorgeous!

Michael sent some Argentine snacks for Scott's birthday.  We ate them during conference.
With his new job Daddy has more time so he coached Alivia's soccer team this year.  It was fun!
Soran is double digits!  We had our annual Easter devotional with the Reeces and the Teicherts and then sang happy birthday to this girl.

She picked Bombay House for her birthday dinner and we took her friend Leslie since it was her birthday as well.  Super yummy!

March 2019

Scott has done some traveling with his new work.  He went to Texas, Colorado and then Seattle in the first 4 months.  And then he goes out to eat, of course.  Dinner in Texas.
John our neighbor came over and did Ash Wednesday for us.  He taught us the history behind it and a lesson on the last week of Christ's life.
Amber turned 15!  And while I don't throw the kids a party every year, she asked for a murder mystery party for her present.  She invited her friends to the "train" and they had dinner and devised who had done it.

Nicole came to visit and spent hours catching up.  It's been too long and I miss having her closer.
The girls' laser puzzle.  They spent days climbing around the yarn lasers.
Lyssa came home for her spring break and we hiked the Y.  Then I dropped my keys so I got to do it twice!  We definitely earned our BYU Creamery ice cream.
Soran in the 4th grade program.  She had 2 lines and she did a great job!
It's so weird that she can go to young womens!

February 2019

This guy's birthday.  We had to celebrate big this year--we've been so blessed and I love him so much. I threw a surprise party for him with friends from the ward.  We had dinner at Station 22 and then headed over for some axe throwing.

I love the looks of concentration.  Yeah, I was crap and Scott won.  As per usual.

Then we partied with the kids.  We went to Provo Beach Resort which turned out to be a lot of fun.  We went bowling, did the ropes course, laser tag, arcade, rode the carousel and had ice cream.

Scott and I did a marriage retreat at Sundance for Valentines day this year.  It was really fun and we learned to appreciate each other more.
Also tried out some cross country skiing.  My bum is covered in snow.
 Definitely doing again!

Livi got some fencing lessons from Grandma for Christmas.  She didn't really take to it.  Another hobby down!  She is going to find her nitch some day.
Christian got his license in February.  This is him partying.
Painting the walls.  Christian made sure I didn't kill myself.

ABBA fever!  Scott got us tickets and I didn't want to go but they turned out to be really good and we had a fun time.  It was interesting to see the variety of people that were ABBA appreciators.

January 2019

New Years party with the Henlines!  We did minute to win it games this year.  The best was the 2 dads battling off with their swinging bananas.  We also watched the Hunger Games series since Christian and I just finished rereading it.  Good times with great friends!

 New Years kiss
Soran is a great little helper.  She loves to set the table.
Scott had a much needed job change to the health care arena.  He works for a hospice and home health care office as controller.  NVP was sad and bitter to see him go, but it was time to move on.  Plus, a $20k increase in pay was pretty nice too.
Alivia's first temple trip.  With the changes in the church she made it there 5 months before we were planning.  We went to breakfast at Kneaders and then headed to the Provo temple.  What a wonderful experience to have almost almost all my kids there.  Christian did some baptizing and the girls had names they brought.  I love the gospel and the happiness it brings to our family.
 Hanging with the cousins.  Literally--haha!

Book Club retreat!  It was our 10 (9) year anniversary so I booked a house in Salt Lake and we spent the night.  I have known these ladies for so long and we have gone through a lot together.  I love the impact they've had on my life and the things we've learned together through the years.  Here's to 10 more!
