Recent Happenings

The last couple weeks have been fun. Alyssa had her birthday and got her ears pierced. She got one done at the mall and later that night (in the dark) while she was sleeping I did the other one because she was too scared to hold still after the first. So don't look too closely because they're not completely even.

Christian also graduated from kindergarten. Can I just say SO CUTE? The teacher had them sing some songs and then we watched a video of the year.

Then Scott and Christian took off for Fathers and Sons. They didin't get much sleep, but they had a good time. Scott and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary last week. Hard to believe we still like each other so much.

Oh, and for those who haven't heard (which I'm sure there aren't very many out there) Scott wants me to add that he got a hole-in-one. He keeps reminding me that people can go their whole lives and not get one. So his life is fulfilled.

We've arrived!

Our family is finally on the internet! We gave in to the craze and joined the rest of the world. Our blog name is all our intials (Scott, Sara, Alyssa, Christian, Amber, Alivia Thompson)--ssacaat. There was nothing open that included the name Thompson. Anyway, we are excited to be here! I will send a more updated picture when I figure out what I'm doing.

Today is Alivia's birthday! She is a big one-year-old. I can't believe it. I remember leaving for the hospital to have her like it was yesterday. With every kid times flies a little quicker. The kids are out of school for the summer and are already bored. Scott went to a Diamondbacks game with his work last night and had a good time eating the food, but not so much watching the game. What can we say? We're just not big sports people. More later!
