Christian's senior trip to Portland! We weren't contagious any more so decided to take a trip. We were a little worried about how open things would be, but other than no breakfast and the pool being closed, we were able to eat and sleep just fine. It was such a fun trip! We ate at lots of food trucks, rode scooters around town, drove down the 101 and visited the Redwoods.
While we were in Portland, the world fell apart. Riots started all over the country, and some of the worst in Salt Lake. Livi and I attended a BLM rally in June to see what it was like.
Good times with friends at Lowes. We had to get out of the house!
The stake didn't do the fun run all together, so we did it on our own on a Saturday morning. Everyone loved it! Haha. And most of our other summer activities got cancelled. No girls camp, Big Springs for Soran, Italy trip for mom and dad, Boston trip for Livi, or Europe trip for Amber--and no family reunions. It was kind of a bummer. But Amber did get a job at Splash Summit, so that was exciting! And Christian worked at Walmart.
Another attempt at being an Asian restaurant. This time we did hot pots. Yummy!
Amber also got her license!!!!
These boys have been friends or at least peers for 8 years. I love their goodness and friendship!
