Harry Potter and Halloween

 Scott and I were invited to a Harry Potter murder mystery dinner and Maren threw an awesome party, as usual.  It was amazing.  We haven't done a party like that in a long time.  Scott was Harry and I was his wife, Ginny.  I dyed my hair red for the occasion but as the lights were so dark, you couldn't really tell.  Alyssa threw a big fit that we got to go to a Harry Potter party when she was the true fan.  So a couple weeks later I let her throw her own.  She did a great job.  She and her friends made all the food and decorated.  I got to clean up, but that was pretty good comparatively.

Can I just say I love Cornbellys?  I love the autumn, the fall afternoons, the activities, the fires at night, and just being together playing with my kids.  This year was a blast!  I think I enjoyed it so much more because Scott was there and able to participate.  We played dodgeball, boys versus girls, and Scott and Christian creamed us every time.  Every time.  Even when Scott wasn't able to move from his one spot.  Either he's amazing or we are lame.  I think it's the former.

 Scott's work puts on a huge Halloween trick or treat party.  You go around the whole company and get candy and treats at every department.  I had to dress up for work this year as a mime.  It was weird.  Scott dressed up as a motorcycle accident.  People didn't know whether to laugh or not.  They just kind of looked away when he said it.  Too funny!  Alyssa was a cat, Christian didn't dress up cause he's too cool, a gypsy with a crystal ball, a bride and a little indian.
