May

Junior Prom!  Amber went with her friend, Hyrum, in a group with Anna and Gloria. They decorated shoes, went to Tucanos for lunch and then the dance.

Surprise 21st birthday party for Alyssa!  It was a lot more work than I was thinking it would be keeping it a secret!  But she was surprised.  And so many friends and roommates came.  We did casino night and played lots of games I had to figure out how to run.  :)  Amber made her a cool cake.

For our WEDDING anniversary we went to an african restaurant which I enjoyed much more this time around and then went to Les Mis.

I was so proud of my girls!  Livi won the Dixon Way award and Soran received the Hope of America award.

And...we're off! We took Livi out for her birthday to get pho with Katelyn (she also got a tennis racket) and we left for Kansas and Missouri the next day.  We stayed in a sketch hotel in Colorado but we survived and made it to Doug and Sara's.  I loved watching Scott and Doug hang out.

April

Spring break--Soran got her junior high booster shots so we went and got a boba drink for her.  She was so brave!

We also went and found the hot springs in Meadow.  They were cool but not as much as the ones up Diamond Fork

Holly and Nick are remodeling the new house for Grandma and Grandpa so we went and helped tear down the walls.  Demo work is pretty fun!

Celebrated Grandma's birthday at Brick Oven.  So many girls!

Dad and I had our 27th anniversary from our first date.  How did we get so old?  We went to a fancy Italian restaurant, spent the night at the Anniversary Inn and then went to the Farmers market the next morning.  I love him so much and I'm so glad he asked me to go to junior prom with him forever ago!

The Bramblings group has been doing more hands on stuff.  They fixed our gate and then built Stephan's gazebo in a day.

Tennis!  Amber didn't play at all this spring, but Livi improved so much!  She wound up finishing 2nd in regionals.

Soran's 12th birthday!  It was a big one so I told her she could go all out.  She and Elizabeth decided they wanted to do Lagoon, so they started planning in February. They had a schedule, food, what rides, and all the plans.  It was cute.  Emily came along and we had a nice day.  The weather was so nice for April!

Getting ready for Italy!  And just being safe.  We got our vaccine.  Lyssa got the Johnson and Johnson and got pretty sick for a day, but recovered quickly.

Can you believe this sunset?  This was one of the nights when I took Amber and Anna to get their nails done for prom!

March

Boy did we celebrate Amber's birthday!  We went to Boondocks, out to eat, and got pastries a couple times.

We used to love to take the kids to Sciencepalooza, so I got tickets this year.  But it's really made for little kids, sniff sniff.  We took Soran and Halle anyway.  They loved the animals and the experiments.

Easter dresses

Just another day at work

Xela asked Soran and I to help at Josh and Alex's bday party at the aquarium.  We each had a group of 6 little ones, but Soran was definitely the most popular one.  They followed her around like little chicks.

Dad and Lyssa discovered the tastiness that is Korean BBQ and have gone several times.  Their favorite is the chicken gristle.  Yuck.

Soran decided to take up volleyball this year and she really enjoyed it!  And she's pretty good!  Its her new favorite sport because you don't have to run.

Dad and I went and saw Tale of 2 Cities when the Hale gave away free tickets as they opened back up after Covid.  It was a good show!  We are lucky to have such great drama in our state.

Pics of my missionary make my heart so happy.  And so does talking to him every week.  So blessed.  A lady moving from California had the missionaries helping her load up and sent me this pic.  I was so grateful I told her we would meet her on the Utah side, so Scott and I went to Sandy and helped her UNload her truck.  I was almost crying to be in the vicinity of someone who had been close to Christian!  haha

February

Winter fun!  We went ice skating at the Peaks Arena and then sledding with the Pagnanis.  There wasn't much snow, we had to drive up the canyon and there still wasn't much.

I put together a wellness room at the school and it was well used this last year!  Lots of kids with anxiety and having a rough time with the pandemic.  I loved it.

Amber and Lyssa went on a trip to Sedona and the Grand Canyon.  They stopped by and got a pic of Dad's plaque for his hole-in-one.

For Valentines we went on a marriage retreat to St. George.  The guys played golf while the girls got pedicures.  The next day we went out on some UTVs.  It almost ruined our perfect marriage but we survived it.

Went and saw "The Importance of Being Earnest" with the Taegers.  It was a really good show and we laughed a lot.

Meanwhile in Stockton, there's a lot of playing going on.  Love it!
