July

4th of July!  We went to the parade in the morning, finished almost the whole season of Stranger Things and then Lyssa and I went to the Stadium of Fire.  A perfect day!

Scott and I were in charge of the Reece family reunion this year, so we had it at Bear Lake with a boat, a jet ski and lots of toys.  We had a fun time playing in the water, hiking the caves, doing games in the evening and enjoying each other's company.

Aunt Xela had some fun minute to win it games

Jacob was the cutest hiking buddy ever.

Love this other crazy family of ours

While we had all the water toys we couldn't resist going out one more time with the Henlines:

24th of July shenanigans

Our summer project which turned out to be a lot of work but I love it:

Activity days camp with Soran.  I got to go with all the girls.  I'm so lucky!

Our exchange student Runa.  We were supposed to get a student from Vietnam but her visa was denied so we did a 2-week exchange with Runa.  We had to kick Steven out of her bedroom since he stayed a month with us while his broken legs were healing.

 Trying the Japanese treats

 Nick living the rich life

We took the kids to the Scera a couple times this summer to see Beauty and the Beast and Richard Marx.  But we aren't doing that again.  These kids just don't want to be cultured.

Mini golfing at Trafalga!

June

Have to start the summer out with the Stake family fun run!

Amber and I trying to Taylor's new boat.

Weekly summer activity--treats, and this one was snow cone day!

On our way to the Thompson reunion in Colorado!

Checking out the waterfalls.

Hike to the falls.

Living it up in the hot tub with the cousins on the deck of the cabin.

Love this crazy family!

On the way home from Colorado we dropped Christian off for EFY in Flagstaff and then he went to stay with the O'Connors.  He whined and complained but I think he had a good time in the end.  He was gone for 3 weeks.

GIRLS CAMP 2019!  Livi's first year.  What a cutie.

This man and what he does for his girls.

Amber's 4th year and the overnight hike

Sweeney reunion.  It was cold and rainy (the story for this summer), but we had a good time visiting, playing corn hole and winning at bingo!

Perfect weather to plant a garden--finally!  We planted mint, basil, tomatoes, watermelon, pumpkin, cucumbers and a couple berry bushes.

May

Alivia put together her own poster for country day.  Dad and I had just gotten back from Paris the night before.

Alyssa came home from school!  And we took her to The Taste for her birthday.  She also got a bike this year since she is an adult and needed transportation.

Lunch with the Thompsons to celebrate Cinco De Mayo!

Amber and Soran were in the play "Hansel and Gretel" and both did amazing. Amber had a couple solos and duets.

Orchestra concerts--Alivia's first at the junior high and Christian's last.  I love to hear them play.
Alivia turned 12!  She picked having her party at Provo Beach and a great time was had by all.

Livi also graduated from elementary school.  And my small contribution was the balloon arch.

 Cousin time at the Cullettos!

Memorial Day hike with the Henlines.  It rained SO MUCH this spring and the mountain was covered in wildflowers.

It was so cold and rainy this year we couldn't have our annual end-of-school party so we partied by ourselves!  We had a pingpong tournament and dad and Amber were the finalists--thanks to all Amber's practice at tennis!
